Novas Arts have collaborated with ‘The Other Side Gallery’ to present a fantastical and affordable Christmas art fair. Perfectly placed for the festive season, ‘A Christmas Fair’ combines art with a social conscience.
‘The Other Side Gallery’ is a London based charity which supports the diverse and dynamic work of the capital's disabled and disadvantaged artists whilst promoting Contemporary Outsider Art in London. All the artists are drawn from 20 collaborating organisations all supporting a wide and eclectic range of clientele from a variety of backgrounds.
Every corner of the gallery has been given to a veritable gaggle of talented artists in the first Christmas fair to be held at the Novas Contemporary Urban Centre London Bridge Bankside. The show is designed to be organic and is constantly changing as purchases are taken home on the day and replaced by another work of art.
Everything in the Christmas Fair is for sale and 100% of profits are invested into accommodation and support for the homeless and the socially excluded, which is especially imperative during the Christmas period.
The exhibition includes a wealth of paintings, sculptures and installations. All the eclectic work on display comes from a response to an open submission, bringing together artists at varying stages of their careers. The exhibition invites viewers to make personal choices whilst introducing them to the remarkable world of Contemporary Outsider Art where beauty, truth, humour and passion explode from the shadows to dazzle and delight.
The Christmas Fair offers both a magical exhibition and an opportunity to buy unique and original works of art as Christmas gifts.
